Challenges:

MSP called to as-built columns and edge of existing floor slabs of 13-story high rise condominium after construction was completed and building was completed and building was occupied by tenants.

Solutions:

To support the contractor’s need for vertical control, MSP used window washer’s cable lifts to scale building faces and measure from vertical base lines to edge of columns and slabs through holes drilled in the brick mortar joints. Project included detailed as-built drawings and expert witness testimony.
