As one of Cincinnati’s oldest currently operating companies, MSP is deeply rooted in the community. And because we view our past as an integral part of our future, we’re committed to giving back to the communities in which we do business. We encourage each of our employees to become involved in something bigger than themselves, something where they can use their gifts and talents to further the good of others. And because we have so many gifted and talented people, we’re proud to say that we’ve been able to give quite a bit.

The Sharonville Christmas Fund

Every year during the holiday season, MSP gives back to the local Sharonville Community by contributing to the Sharonville Christmas Fund. The Sharonville Christmas Fund is a non-profit organization available to assist Sharonville residents in times of need. Every year the Fund assists approximately 50 families.

Canstruction®

Canstruction® is an annual charity competition where design firms put their skills to the test to see who can build the most astounding structure made entirely from full cans of food. The Canstruction events combine the competitive spirit of a design/build competition with a unique way to help feed hungry people. Competing teams, lead by architects and engineers, showcase their talents by designing giant sculptures made entirely out of canned foods. At the close of the exhibitions all of the food used in the structures is donated to local food banks for distribution to pantries, shelters, soup kitchens, and elderly and day care centers.

MSP has regularly participated in the Cincinnati Canstruction® competition for many years. In 2009, MSP continued its proud tradition of being a part of the Cincinnati Canstruction competition with its entry “Tightening Down Hunger”, which won the award for “Structural Ingenuity”. The design for “Tightening Down Hunger” was one of the most inventive and complex visual displays MSP has ever attempted, providing a significant amount of canned food to the FreeStore/Foodbank.
